City Boot Camp offers civilian boot camp activities as well as one-on-one personal training. Our instructors are encouraging and supportive. We will never embarrass, harass or intimidate you. Our goal is to see you succeed in achieving a healthier lifestyle.

Upcoming Wedding

I met Chris Sider of CityBootCamp in October 2010. I was planning on shedding a few pounds and toning up my body for my upcoming wedding nuptials in May of 2011. I started Chris Sider bootcamp weighing 170 pounds, trying to manage my diet and could not find success with trying anything on my own. So, I signed up for a 6 week session. 5:30am class! Well 6 weeks certainly wasn’t enough to get what I was trying to achieve – a life style change! By the time May 2011 arrived I was down to 153 pounds. I went from a size 10 to a size 6. I was able to lose 17 pounds of fat, gain muscle, and sculpt my entire body. ( a flat stomach, abs and defined shoulders were exactly what I needed for my wedding dress!) I was a new person who had adopted a new style of life. Since I joined City BootCamp I have made fitness a part of my daily life. I am very thankful for Chris Sider, City Bootcamp and the friendships that have come from it all. City Bootcamp is an experience and a life changing event you won’t want to miss! Thank you Chris for everything! I hope all is well.

Baby Weight

After my 4th baby in 7 years, I was almost certain I would never get my weight down again. Four weeks postpartum, I had a visit from my favorite brother and personal trainer Chris Sider! Together we devised a plan that would work for a working mother of 4. Chris showed me how to workout and best address my trouble areas. Chris is my virtual trainer, he sent me weekly workouts that I followed religiously. I ran my first 5k in March and also competed in a Muderella competition. 15 months later I am down 62 pounds!!! I feel great and continue to work hard and be determined to be in the best shape I can be!!! Work Hard or Go Home!

I hate the gym!

I started training with Chris about 20 months ago and walked in with the attitude of hating going to the gym, not knowing where to start or even if my goals were attainable. I’ll say that within the first 3 months of personal training, my whole attitude turned around and my view on working out and dreading the gym changed completely. One of the great benefits of the personal training for me was that I had a leader to show me the way and to really think of my skills when it came to mapping out each session. Chris works with you and not only helps you work towards achieving your initial goals, but adapts to the new ones you make for yourself as you progress. The training is so dynamic as well as interesting. I feel like I am always doing a circuit or routine that I’ve never done before and it takes the tediousness out of your workout. The results have been incredible physically, mentally, and I even changed my diet to be much healthier than it had been before. I have currently lost over 60 pounds and have never felt or looked better.

Family Affair

I started the City Boot Camp program on the morning of March 7, 2011. Together with four other women I began my first session with Chris; it was 5:30am in the morning and it was dark and cold. Two and one half years later I’m still meeting Chris in the dark at 5:30am and I’ve lost 40 pounds along the way. Has it been easy? No. Chris has a motto “Work Hard or Go Home;” and that’s what we do. I’ve seen people come and go, I’ve seen people try a variety of programs but if you want results that truly last, that aren’t here today and gone tomorrow then come and work out with us in the morning. Chris isn’t some “fly by night guy” working out of his garage and he’s not one of those “big box trainers.” No, Chris is one of us. He’s been there, done the drill, got down and got dirty and in the end cares about each and every one of us. Today two and one half years later we still meet three times a week at 5:30 AM; my wife and I together with 10-12 others. Chris will be there, will you? Come on get up and get out of bed, you have the rest of your life to sleep; I should know I’m 67.
